Winter BBQ Favourites

Often as the weather gets colder, we tend to pop away our BBQs and opt for oven baked dishes. This winter, keep your grill fired up and indulge in all of your favourite roasts and winter warmers - thanks to our Indoor/Outdoor BBQ Grill. With an easy-to-remove base, transport your BBQ from the backyard to your kitchen bench with total ease.

Best of all, our Indoor/Outdoor BBQ Grill cooks up to 13 servings of all of your favourite meats and veggies - so that you can keep entertaining all winter long.

This winter, we’ll be barbecuing lamb and serving with tangy tzatziki along with our favourite spicy roast vegetables.

To make this mouth-watering BBQ lamb you will need:

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp olive oil 
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1tbsp dried oregano
  • 1thyme leaf
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 leg of lamb, butterflied

To begin, start by mashing your garlic into a paste, we recommend using a mortar and pestle to do this. Then mix in the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, leaf and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Next, move your lamb to a large dish, cover with your marinade and begin to massage the mixture into your meat. Leave to stand for 1 hour at room temperature.

To cook your lamb, start by heating your BBQ to 200°C - cooking on each side for 15 - 20 minutes or until well done. With variable temperature control, you’ll find cooking your lamb super easy.

To create a delicious tzatziki, simply grate a cucumber and combine with 170g Greek yoghurt, 1 small garlic clove - minced, a squeeze of lemon and salt and pepper to taste.

To serve alongside the lamb, we’ve been loving these spicy, roasted veggies -charred to perfection on our Indoor/Outdoor BBQ Grill. Our removable grill also makes for super easy cleaning between servings!

To create this mouth-watering side you will need:

  • 2 red capsicums
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 eggplant
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 bunches asparagus
  • 200g button mushrooms
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

To begin, simply pop all of your marinade ingredients into a jar and shake well, before leaving to stand for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, thickly slice all of your vegetables. In a large bowl, toss your veggies and marinade in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Grill your veggies until crisp and charred around the edges.

To serve we love to pop our grilled lamb, tzatziki and roasted veggies in soft pita bread. A super healthy, delicious dinner - ready to eat in under an hour.
